Eco Projects Brief
Call for Eco themed Creative Project Proposals:
We appreciate that proposals for Eco Projects may need to be delayed until further notice in line with government guidance given the current pandemic. We invite you to apply either expecting to deliver the project once things resume to normal and launch at the Eco Market once a new date is confirmed or if your project can be safely and legally delivered in the current conditions surrounding Covid-19 then we are keen to consider such proposals also.
Please apply either way, and we'll be in touch shortly after the deadline.

Creative West End are inviting applications from artists, makers, architects and creatives who are interested in proposing projects with an ‘Eco’ theme. We’re deliberately leaving this quite open and inviting people to use their imagination and artistic license. Successful projects will be expected to ‘launch’ at the next Creative West End Market - currently postponed. We are open to how you will use the Market as a platform to launch or showcase the project and involve the community in it.
Projects might directly work with nature and the environment or seek to address or explore an environmental issue in a creative way. Projects must be intended to engage with and benefit the community in the area and involve them in the process wherever possible.
‘Perception and Place’ was the key emerging theme and priority for our project delivery and will determine how we will invest in projects and proposals to create long lasting meaningful change in our area through art and creativity. This was informed by numerous consultations and engagements and will be guided and overseen by our Creative West End board made up of local people, local arts organisations and artists who each share the desire to put the community and creativity at the heart of Creative West End.
We have prepared guidance documents to help give you the best chance of success.
