Winter Market 2021

The return of the Winter Market in collaboration with More Music’s Winter Lantern festival

Saturday 4th December 2021 | 11am – 5pm

More Music, 13-17 Devonshire Rd, West End, Morecambe LA3 1QT

We were pleased to celebrate the return of the Winter Market promising as ever to be much More Than a Market.

Situated inside More Music, there was a wide selection of local works of art and crafts available to purchase and an array of interactive stalls and workshops for you to get involved in.

Our markets are a great chance to get more involved in your community and connect with local organisations and initatives such as GIVE – The People’s Community Hub CIC, Lancaster City Council, Eggcup and The Bay: A Blueprint For Recovery, which was ran by a representative from The Eden Project.

Best of all fabulous creative projects Raku pottery firing with RAM & Rae Ceramics throughout the afternoon, guided audio walks from the Promenade (Everybody's Free) project, a mural installation from Walkies with Woodhouse, The Nib Crib with their new Book Exchange, allowing people to pick up a new read in the return of a book of their own, Maky Your Own chopping board with Nick and Lou, and not forgetting the delicious soup provided by Eggcup, a local food charity. Outside from 2pm, there was even more entertainment on offer from the Lantern Festival, hosted by More Music, with  live entertainment, more exciting workshops and eventually the procession which started at 6pm.

Our markets are a place for meeting, learning, listening, chatting, making, creating, connecting, and playing.
