We've reached the last year of Creative Civic Change funding so this year, we're recruiting for a slightly bigger post than usual for our Market Coordinator 2022 role to make sure we create something that will be maintained and live on and continue for years to come.
It is important to us that we develop stong connections and links with other local groups, traders and community members across the area to help expand these events and create a well rounded and diverse community celebration 4 times a year, inline with the seasons.
This role includes organising & overseeing the events, but also lots of community engagement to make sure that people are as involved as possible in planning, but also in bringing these events & their ideas to life!
We're looking for someone that is well organised, motivated and with strong relationships across the area or able to quickly and positively develop them.

How to apply?
We are continuing to trial a new, more inclusive system for commissioning of core projects, called Open Procurement (OP). All parties interested in fulfilling this brief are asked to submit a short but formal expression of interest. After which, all successful expressions will be invited to attend an OP session in person or on Zoom. This will last a maximum of 2 hours and is planned provisionally for the 1st March, 6pm.
This process will enable all participants to ask for any clarification they might need concerning the role, suggest how they can help to meet the brief, answer any questions that may be asked then all being well, we will come to an agreement together about the final decision. The OP session will also include any key stakeholders that ought to have a say in the decisions made.
