Hello Creative West Enders!
The date is set for the next Creative Civic Change (CCC) peer learning event which will take place in Corby, Northamptonshire (192 miles / 3.5 hours by minibus) on the 6th & 7th May 2022. We'll be booking a minibus and will arrange a driver from the team to get us there safely and in good time. As ever we will do our best to accomodate as many people as possible but due to transport and accomodation practicalities we may not be able to take everyone.
This is a great chance to connect with the other 14 communities part of the programme nationally like ours that are using arts and creativity to make positive local change.
Creative Kingswood & Hazel Leys will be hosting us all in Corby for a weekend of fun, creativity, and learning and we would love to see as many people there as possible.
All those that have connected with Creative West End, our network, markets, projects and activities are invited and most welcome to come along and join - so if you'd like to come let us know by signing up via the webform below.
A more detailed agenda will follow, but rough timings are looking like:
Friday 6th May:
Depart Morecambe 7.15am from outside More Music or 7.30am at Lancaster Park and Ride
12pm - 1pm: Arrive in Corby for welcome & Lunch
1pm - 5pm: Open Space
6pm – 8pm: Dinner & Fun
Saturday 7th May:
9am - 11am: Creative sessions led by Creative Kingswood & Hazel Leys
11am - 1pm: Peer Learning
1pm: Lunch & end
Local Trust will be covering the cost of one night at the Premier Inn Corby. All other reasonable travel costs and expenses will be covered by Creative West End via our CCC funding.
