We are proud to announce that the partnership has secured the minimum funds needed to ensure Creative West End will be back in 2023 with more community-led creativity! Whilst we’re still working to develop this further, it means we can confirm our schedule up to September.
This of course includes the market dates themselves - but also our Network Events, which this year, we’re calling ‘Work Parties’.
After loads of co-creation with our community over the last few years, this year we’re looking to move from ‘talking’, to ‘learning and doing’. These events will be your chance to get involved in helping make the markets be the best they can be.
We’ll post more details on themes and specifics nearer to each one, but for now - consider this a pretty comprehensive ‘save the date’.
CWE Markets (More than a Market):
Sat 13th May
Sat 10th June
Sat 8th July
Sat 12th August
Sat 9th September
Network Events And Work Parties.
We'll have two events before the summer season to get ourselves organised and involved. These will be held on;
Wed 15th March, from 6:30 - 9:00pm
Wed12th April, from 6:30 - 9:00pm
These will then routinely take place on the Wednesday after each Market, giving us a chance to review how the previous market went and make the next one even better. Dates below;
17th May
14th June
12th July
16th Aug
13th September
2023’s Winter Market:
We’re working on plans for a Winter Market on the first weekend of December in Partnership with More Music's Lantern Parade - but this is still to be confirmed. If all goes to plan, we expect to hold a final ‘Work Party’ on Wednesday the 18th October with a clear focus on the winter event.
If you are part of a local group, business or community organisation that would like to get involved and share this regular opportunity to connect with our community then please get in touch, or just come along to our network events. We want the events to be engaging and fun but ultimately a meaningful addition to what the area has to offer. Our network is open to anyone that shares our ethos and interest in kindness, creativity and collaboration!
